A fragrance with a silky effect, illustrating both feminity and sensuality“Red Shoes” is the name of a 1948 ballet movie for which Jacques Fath designed the fabulous costumes of prima ballerina, Moira Schearer. In 1950, Fath designed a sumptuous red silky dress with the same name, worn by model Bettina. This incredible dress inspired the perfumer with this fragrance with a sparkling opening with this first fresh sensation. A rich and warm fragrance, a creation like a soft embraceThe name Velours Boisé (woody velvet in English) evokes this unique fabric with a sensual touch Jacques Fath frequently used to sublimate his evening gowns. It also evokes the winter season, this particular warm and friendly atmosphere. A voluptuous New Caledonia Sandalwood (extremely warm, and sweet, with a rich woody aroma) gives the structure to the fragrance.
